Soul Soma Therapy Terms of Service, Release of Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

By booking, attending, participating in, or otherwise engaging with services provided by Soul Soma Therapy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms:

Voluntary Participation

Participation in therapy, coaching, and somatic practices is entirely voluntary and may be paused or discontinued at any time.

Nature of Services

Soul Soma Therapy provides trauma-informed emotional and somatic support. Services are not medical, psychiatric, diagnostic, or emergency treatment and should not be considered a substitute for professional healthcare.

Services are available to adults aged 18+ only.

Personal Responsibility

You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, wellbeing, and healthcare choices during and after sessions. Where necessary, you agree to seek appropriate medical, psychiatric, mental health, or emergency support from qualified providers.

Assumption of Risk

Therapeutic, coaching, and somatic work may involve emotional processing and may evoke difficult emotions, memories, or physical sensations. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.

Emergency & Crisis Support

Soul Soma Therapy is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, feel unable to keep yourself safe, or require urgent support, please contact:

Confidentiality

Confidentiality will be maintained in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal obligations. Information may be disclosed where:

  • There is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others

  • There are safeguarding concerns

  • Disclosure is required by law or court order

  • Information is shared anonymously for professional supervision

No Guarantee of Results

While therapy and coaching can support personal growth and wellbeing, no guarantee is made regarding specific outcomes, results, or improvements. Progress varies between individuals.

Fees, Cancellations & Attendance

  • Sessions must be paid for in advance.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed appointments are charged at the full session fee.

  • Late arrivals do not extend session times and are charged at the full fee.

  • Package purchases are subject to the terms provided at the time of purchase.

Reports & Documentation

Soul Soma Therapy does not provide:

  • Court, legal, or social services reports

  • Employment or insurance documentation

  • GP, medical, or fitness-for-work letters

  • Expert witness testimony

Health & In-Person Attendance

Clients attending in person do so at their own discretion and accept responsibility for their own health, wellbeing, and any potential exposure to illness.

Intellectual Property

All materials, resources, recordings, handouts, and content provided by Soul Soma Therapy remain the intellectual property of Soul Soma Therapy and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior written consent.

Suspension or Termination of Services

Soul Soma Therapy reserves the right to decline, suspend, or terminate services where:

  • The service is no longer appropriate

  • Client needs fall outside the practitioner's competence or scope of practice

  • Professional boundaries or policies are repeatedly breached

  • Behaviour is abusive, inappropriate, threatening, or disrespectful

Limitation of Liability

While Soul Soma Therapy endeavours to provide services with reasonable skill, care, and professional integrity, no warranty, guarantee, or representation is made regarding outcomes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soul Soma Therapy, its practitioners, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or economic loss, damage, cost, or expense arising from participation in, reliance upon, or use of its services, resources, information, or recommendations.

You acknowledge that participation in therapeutic, coaching, and somatic services is undertaken voluntarily and that you remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, health, and wellbeing.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

By submitting a form, booking an appointment, making payment, or participating in services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service, Release of Responsibility, and Limitation of Liability.
